Ceremony Social Club Bylaws
Name and Purpose
1. The organization shall be known as Ceremony Social Club (the Club).
2. The Club exists to create a welcoming, inclusive community that celebrates nonalcoholic living through curated events, tastings, and shared experiences.
Membership
1. Eligibility: Membership is open to individuals who align with the Club’s mission and values. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received. Not all applications will be granted.
2. Privileges: Members will receive:
Invitations to exclusive events, tastings, and other experiences.
The ability to bring one guest (+1) to events unless otherwise specified.
Real-time updates on Club activities, product launches, and discounts.
3. Membership Terms:
Memberships are revocable and subject to review annually. Renewal is not guaranteed and may be denied for reasons such as past behavior, no-shows, or lack of engagement.
Members agree to uphold the Club’s mission, values, and rules.
Code of Conduct
1. Applicability: These rules apply to all members and their guests. Members are responsible for their own behavior and the behavior of their guests.
2. Behavioral Expectations:
Be kind, respectful, and inclusive. Discrimination, harassment, or abusive language of any kind (including racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise offensive behavior) will not be tolerated.
Members and guests must not attend events under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Vaping and smoking are not permitted at any Club events.
3. Engagement: Members are encouraged to actively participate in events and activities. Repeated no-shows or lack of engagement may result in non-renewal of membership.
Event Policies
1. Punctuality: Members and guests must arrive early or on time for events. Late arrivals may not be accommodated.
2. Mindfulness: Members and guests are expected to respect the space they occupy during events, being mindful of others and the venue.
3. Responsibility:
Members are responsible for any costs they and their guests incur unless otherwise stated.
Members are accountable for any damage or loss caused by themselves or their guests to the venue, the Club, or any parties connected to the event.
4. No Guarantees: Membership does not guarantee access to all events or specific privileges. Event availability and offerings are subject to change.
Membership Revocation and Disciplinary Actions
1. Grounds for Revocation: Membership may be revoked for:
Violations of Club rules or policies.
Inappropriate behavior by members or their guests.
Repeated no-shows or lack of engagement.
Actions resulting in harm or loss to the venue, the Club, or related parties.
2. Guest Violations: Members are accountable for the actions of their guests. Any violations by guests may result in consequences for the hosting member, including membership revocation.
3. Review Process: Memberships are reviewed annually, and non-renewal decisions are final.
Applications
1. Application Process: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received.
2. Selection: Not all applications will be approved, and the decision to grant membership is at the sole discretion of the Club.
Amendments to Bylaws
1. The Club reserves the right to update or amend these bylaws at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes.
By joining Ceremony Social Club, members agree to abide by these bylaws and uphold the Club’s mission of fostering a respectful, inclusive, and celebratory community.
Members are responsible for communicating Club expectations and bylaws to guests they bring with them to events.
